GRATITUDE and COVID. YES.

Updated: Oct 8, 2021

Hello, friend! It's been too long since last time I posted! ;P

Hope ALL are WELL!

SO Crazy that the first post after a long pause is COVID...

Yes. NEVER thought I would get it!!!

Quick Fact; US CDC Covid Update (Aug. 19, 2021):

Fully Vaccinated Can Spread the Virus to Others & Have Same Viral Load as Unvaccinated; Vaccine Passports Facilitate Covid Spread By Providing False Sense of Security

I got it last month and took almost 4(!!!)weeks to beat it!!!

(Thank GOD and my AMAZING partner!!!)

As ex-heavy-smoker for a decade (shame!! and HUGE regret, INDEED!!!),

I suffered breathing issue for almost 2weeks and it was quite life-changing experience...

Many time I thought I was not gonna make it, keeping

my POSITIVITY UP was THE KEY.

Other than staying positive, these are some VERY USEFUL tips that I would love to share.

(Really hope nobody needs them, yet, great to know, just.in.case.)

Our friend's client who is a Doctor shared most of these tips.

I say #1 was really important one, I'm so glad she told us.

1. Lying face down.

This one was really hard, since whole body was hurting; neck, lower back, shoulder...

YET, if I didn't, I couldn't breathe!

So, the reason why lying face down is to IMPROVE lung function.

"Lung tissue at the back of the thoracic cavity is relieved of the burden of gravity and is more capable of expansion and gas exchange. Some patients with *ARDS have seen marked improvements in oxygen saturations from lying face down alone."

*ARDS; Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome

ARDS is defined as any condition in which breathing and/or respiration is acutely limited or at risk. In severe Covid-19 cases, the vigorous immune response that follows a coronavirus infection causes swelling and damage to the lung tissue. Accumulating fluid and swollen tissue between air and blood make breathing a major task, which often requires that severely ill patients be placed on mechanically-assisted ventilation.

I found this and it helped me a little.

2. Keep hydrated.

We kept drinking WATER yet heard that Gatorade, anything w/electrolyte, are good.

Coldpressed orange juice. (Thank God for Vons delivery service. It's been our lifesaver!)

Caffeine "free" herb teas; My friend sent me PUKKA's tea( Lemon ginger+manuka honey, Three ginger, Elderberry, Blackcurrant, Turmeric) and they are amazing!

3. Take supplement.

VitaminC 2000mg, Zinc 50mg, Vitamin D 2000IU, Selenium, Magnesium.

Vitamin D, I learned this later, it works better to take it in the morning w/fatty food. (I take it w/avocado or nuts.)

Plus my everyday supplement Ashwagandha ( It helps me being in POSITIVE mood!)

Post Covid, I started taking Ginger, too!

-One point we were taking NAC, too, yet not really sure they were helping us. ;P

4. Food and Drinks

Apples(my favorite), Tangerine, "Coldpressed"greenjuice, "Coldpressed"Orange Juice, "Coldpressed" Carrot Juice, canned Chicken(I just ate vegetables+rice)rice soup, Gluten free bread, Avocado,

Berries smoothie(blueberry, strawberries, banana).

*Avoid any dairy products!!!!!!VERY important!!!!!

5. Medication - and MAGICAL drink!!!

So, one week, we didn't take any medication fro fever, yet, second week, it got worst(The highest was 103.1(!?!!), crazy!!!) so, we started taking Advil and found out it makes recovery delayed.(sigh) so, Tylenol is better choice.

(Mucinex/ Robitussin...I'm not so sure about these...They made me feel my brain drying...

didn't make me much better, yet, many articles recommended, so I guess they are ok...???)

I REALLY wish I knew this; Slippery Elm has been working WELL for me post Covid-mucus issue. It took time, yet helps me A LOT!!! Thank YOU!!!

AND, THIS magical drink Dr. Mandell shares REALLY helps fixing my mucus issue!!!

AMAZING!!! Thank YOU!!! Dr. Mandell!!!

It's 1cup of warm WATER+1/2Juiced LEMON JUICE( I used store-bought organic squeezed lemon juice) + 2 Table spoon of HONEY + 1 Table spoon of OLIVE OIL +

1/4 tea spoon of CINNAMON

Not only it WORKS, but also it's YUMMY!!! YEEESSS!!!

6. Air ventilation /plants Keeping the room's ventilation well is very important!!!

Also, I put bunch of plants in the room...I was just desperate for oxgen, not being able to breathe was the scariest experience. AH!!!

7. Gargle with SALT water

This is VERY HELPFUL tip, too. Thanks to Dr. Mandell's video, I learned this tip.

I used powder sea salt from Okinawa, Japan, yet as long as fine sea salt,

it should work.

I didn't measure it, yet, found recipe;

Mix about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of salt to every 8 ounces of water.

You can read about it on this site.

7. Stay positive

I think it's important to stay positive; try to think

What you can be GRATEFUL in this situation and

Picture yourself got better. (VERY important!!!)

YES. I'm a BIG fan of "THE SECRET".

8. Extra tips

Also I found these Dr. Mandell's videos are HELPFUL! ;)

In the end, "THANKS TO"Covid, my GRATITUDE for what I used to take it for granted; being able to breathe/walk/move...etc got SO BOOSTED.

Without this life-changing experience, I would never appreciate for what I usually do without thinking...

ALSO, I think twice now what I buy when I go grocery shopping; do I really

wanna put this food in my "precious" body??? I still enjoy so-so healthy stuff,

yet, definitely MUCH MORE careful what I eat.

Thank YOU, Covid for changing my LIFE!!!

I continue to take GREAT care of my AMAZING body!!!
